Kudos to Amir for keeping his composure in round 1 and then implementing his standup in round 2. He slammed Amir a few times, but didn't do a whole lot inside his guard. I thought Harris definitely had the edge, but he didn't appear to be a very well rounded fighter. The results of the first prelim fight were rather shocking. The first round was close and I suppose one could have given it to Schultz, but round 2 was clearly all Yarbrough, so much so that it was probably scored 10-8 and that's why they never saw round three. I don't know if if the fight should have gone to a third round. How are you gonna talk smack to Griffin when you're getting your head caved in. Someone needs to smack Patrick Schultz too. So things between Griffin and Jackson started to heat up this past Wednesday. Serra's a likeable guy, and he gets points from me because he's from my hometown, but let's not forget that he was basically out of a job until Ultimate Fighter: The Comeback gave his career a second chance. Former UFC martial artist, Josh Neer, has faced some of the most terrifying and dangerous fighters in the world with an MMA career that includes 33 wins. The unidentified man can be seen getting viciously elbowed and punched repeatedly by Neer, who then threw a closing soccer kick to his head. While I can't stand Matt Hughes, he was correct when he said Serra isn't even in the top 10 in that weight division. Uploaded FebruFormer UFC fighter Josh 'The Dentist' Neer posted a brutal 14 second video of him delivering heavy punishment on someone at his gym. Huh? Fact of the matter is, if Serra and GSP fought 10 times, GSP wins 8/9 of the ten. But for one night in December of 2013, he put the two together as he fought Anthony Smith in a Victory Fighting Championship bout in Ralston, Nebraska.
